Grigory Perelman solved one of the seven so-called “Millennium Problems” set out by the Massachusetts-based Clay Mathematics Institute. For accomplishing this task Grigory Perelman was awarded the $1,000,000 millennium prize. Grigory Perelman has since declines the 1 mil. prize. What’s fascinating is Grigory is currently jobless and living with his mother. He does not want to become the poster child of mathematics and obviously isn’t doing it for the money.
