NBC Wins Gold In Olympics TV Ratings

Tuesday’s Olympics’ telecast won the gold for NBC. Compared to the Vancouver Olympics ratings were up 20%.

Ratings Breakdown:

NBC was first in ratings with a 6.6 rating/18 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and first in viewers with an average of 23.7 million.

Other Networks:

Univision and Fox tied for second in ratings, each with a 1.2/3. Univision was third in viewers with 3.1 million, Fox was fifth in viewers with 2.8 million. Compared to NBC all other networks did very poor.

It looks like the Sochi Olympics are a hit for NBC winning them a gold medal in the TV Ratings.
