Back in the day I was a huge fan of RPG like like Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior for Nintendo. Now there’s a whole new generation of RPGs not being funded by Nintendo, Playstation, or XBOX, but funded on sites like Kickstarter. Anyone that has played RPGs knows how involving they are so you might be thinking why should I stop my current RPG and play this one? What makes Ae’ra Sunburn different? Ae’ra Sunburn is set in a lush, vibrant fantasy world, core features are co-op, exploring, crafting and a real-time modern combat system.

Characters

Players can choose 1 of 4 characters with their own unique stories and abilities. Characters include Cyan, Jade, Aisa, and Za’rach. If I ever get my hands on this game I’m definitely picking Za’rach he looks like a beast! He’s actually “master of the beasts” after all according to the game story.

What Do The Environments Look Like?

How’s The Music?

If there is one thing I enjoyed about playing RPG games it’s the music. The music was one of the reason I loved Final Fantasy games so much. Right now they are working on getting the amazing artist, Kim Karlsson to produce tracks on the game. They also have help from other musicians, their latest edition is Robin Johnsen, a DJ with a “really great flow of feelings.” Depending on the success of the Kickstarter campaign the RPG will be voice covered as well.

Are There Any Rewards?

Yes, this is a very professional campaign, no aspect has been overlooked including many more than fair rewards. $6 gets you end credit thanks, exclusive updates, and a big thank you from the team. The rewards go all the way up to about $1,822 USD where you’ll get 100 copies of the game and your name/logo in the beginning of the title. My favorite pledge level is $18 where you get a copy of the game and end credit thanks. If nothing else support at this level.

Conclusion

So as you can see this is a great, promising RPG game, but all they need is more support to get this thing to 100%. Video games to develop require a lot of different kinds of work. There’s visuals, story, music, game design, voice over, the list goes on and on. The team is working on the most important aspects of the game, but to get it polished to the level of perfection they will need support from Kickstater backers like you.
