Ask about Special discounts and rates:

Never forget to ask about special rates. It will help you to find a less expensive room in hotels. It may possible that you will get student, military, senior citizen, or other discounts. Find out special discount for kids.

Carefully choose your season:

Hotel room rates in Las Vegas can vary dynamically according to season variation. Winter is the best to get more discounts in hotel rooms while summer comes on second. End of the year when Christmas and New Year will occur is the most busiest and expensive season.

Avoid hidden cost:

Before booking your room, ask for the charges for parking. Always use your own cell phone whenever possible and avoid phone calls from hotel phone. Most hotels can charge for water, snacks, and soda etc. So choose what you want and what is not? It will probably reduce your overall cost by 15% or more.

Avoid weekends:

Hotel rooms in Las Vegas are more affordable in middle of the week and cheapest on the Tuesday night. Try to avoid the weekend days if possible. In weekends there are more limitations in tables, and you will hardly find restaurant reservation and hotel room can cost you three times higher than normal times. If you have enough time for your planning then search for different hotel rates and compare for the best suitable, cheapest, and comfortable hotel room for you. If you have more information then you’ll definitely save your more dollars.

Free Passes:

Find a cab driver with free passes to clubs. You don’t have to ride with them, just ask a taxi driver for free passes to clubs if you plan to go. Usually you can get in to clubs for free or at a discounted rate.

Many hotels will offer something called a “late checkout.” On your last day at the hotel call the front desk and ask if they offer a late checkout. This will allow you to sleep in and get packed for your trip home.

Find a hotel that’s in proximity to the restaurants, clubs, shows, shopping, casinos, etc. you want to go to. You will save money on taxis and it’s also more convenient to just walk. What I do is find a hotel that is near a grocery store. The best you can do on the strip is a drug store like Walgreens, it will save you a TON OF MONEY if you do it right. Buy your snacks, soda, bars, alcohol, coffee, everything at the drug store. This will give you a nice stock of supplies in case of an emergency.

Membership offers:

If you want to access everything in Las Vegas then go for the hotels that reside in the middle. Few hotels you should consider for your comfort and also provide lower rates are: Imperial palace, Flamingo, Bally’s, and Harrah’s etc. You can also join club or membership provided by these hotels as they provide special discount to their registered members.

Other Tips:

Your flexible planning can also offer you lower room rates. If you can change your arrival and departure then it can get you some coupons and promotional offers. Always ready to search for the next hotel room rates. It may possible you’ll save more dollars in your next hotel.

So if you are packing your bags for Las Vegas then research as much as you can to minimize your hotel room rates. Go for discounts, special offers, promotional offers, and any other benefits you can get. Avoid unnecessary and extra hidden cost offered by hotels. This can reduce a large amount of your dollar.

Walmart Black Friday Pandemonium: Video

Walmart Black Friday Pandemonium: Video

See below for video of some of the Black Friday Walmart chaos highlights. A wise man once told me that individuals are smart, but groups of people are generally dumb. I think this is especially true on Black Friday. I made a pack with myself a few years ago after visiting a Walmart at 5:00 AM to never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever shop on Black Friday again. You are seduced by the commercials and general media hype only to find Black Friday is nothing like you were promised. If hell had a hell that would be what Black Friday is.

Things against Black Friday shopping coming from the horses mouth:

– You are tired

– You can’t find parking so you end up parking 3 miles away in a dimly light gas station parking lot

– You got up early, but not early enough to get the best Walmart deals. The best deals sell out in 5 min.

– You realize that you aren’t a shopper you are grass eating cattle

– You realize that Black Friday is more of a shakedown for cash then a day that actually has deals. The “deals” in all truthfulness come after Christmas. It’s all about clearance, not one-off Black Friday deals.

– The lines stretch to the back of the store. You’re going to be waiting for at least 1/2 hour

– You think to yourself, “Why do Walmart cashiers check out customers so slowly?”

– To combat the tiredness you are feeling you think to yourself, “Why don’t I grab a coffee at Starbucks.” You being a original thinker realize 300 people had that same idea. If you want your coffee your going to have to wait another 1/2 hour in line.

Take it from me, a Black Friday veteran, don’t shop on Black Friday ever, ever, ever… With one exception! If you are one of those individuals that enjoy your experience at the DMV then Black Friday may be a perfect shopping day for you. All others stay away.

Don’t believe me? Watch the heard attempt to “shop” at Walmart

It’s Friday, it’s Friday… Black Friday

Biggest Cyber Monday and Black Friday Deals: How to Get Them

Biggest Cyber Monday and Black Friday Deals: How to Get Them

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are around the corner, and many of you are likely gearing up for the crowds and looking for ways to stay ahead of the frenzy. For Cyber Monday and Black Friday newbies, they are just two of the busiest shopping days of the year. Black Friday (November 23 this year) is the day after Thanksgiving and officially launches the holiday shopping season. The term “Black Friday” was originally used to describe insane traffic after Thanksgiving in Philadelphia, but later on it meant the point at which retailers started to profit (to be “in the black”). Cyber Monday (November 26 this year) is the Monday that follows Black Friday and was conceived by retailers in 2005 to make people shop online.

Black Friday, Cyber Monday

Needless to say, the clever marketing ploy was a success—it’s one of the best days of the year to get incredible discounts on your online purchases. In fact, comScore reported that Cyber Monday 2010 was the highest spending day of that year. And it’s not only in the U.S.—Cyber Monday has spread to countries like the U.K. and Chile. So what can a shopper expect on Black Friday and Cyber Monday? Retailers open very early, usually at four in the morning. Some major stores even open at midnight and stay open overnight! Also, expect a lot of serious discounts, offers, promotions and deep cuts on everything from shoes to electronics.

How to Get Deals?

It pays to have a game plan for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, especially if you’re going to be hitting up a lot of local retailers. First, know what you can and cannot afford. Just because everything is half off doesn’t mean you should run yourself into debt. Remember that a deal is no longer a deal as you rack up interest charges on credit card purchases. For Black Friday, have a budget, make a list and stick to the list. Get the most important item in your list first, and be prepared for not getting all deals. Leave the kids at home—the lines are long, the stores are packed and people are grumpy. Do take a friend or your hubby with you (great for holding your spot in line in case nature calls).

Don’t worry if you can’t go out; there are lots of sales and deals online. Our favorite is Amazon’s week-long Black Friday event. For Cyber Monday, go to your favorite store’s website and sign up for their email newsletter. Many stores are giving subscribers exclusive coupons and discounts. Also visit eBay, Ebates, and price comparison websites. Deals are usually price matched, so make sure to compare prices from different websites at different times of the day—20% off can quickly turn into 50% off! To give you an idea of what’s out there, we’ve picked out some top deals (prices may change):
