I had to post this news story. California plans to ban black cars in order to help the environment. Darker color cars require heavier air conditioner usage. The recommedation comes in CARB Cool Cars Standards and Test Procedures which will requre 20% solar reflectivity in all colors by 2016. Read more about the black ban at CrunchGear.com.
