ViewSonic Launches $200 7-Inch Android Tablet

ViewSonic announced today that it will begin selling a $200 7-Inch Android Tablet. It will be called the ViewPad 7e. The ViewPad Tablet will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread, not the Honeycomb version. The 7-Inch ViewSonic will compete directly with the Kindle Fire and Kobo Vox.

Specs:

Speed: 1 GHz processor

Storage: 4 GB internal storage that can be upgraded to 32 GB with MiscroSD slot

Display: 800×600 multitouch display that supports RiteTouch. 7 inch screen.

Flash: Supports 10.3

Cameras: 2 camers front 0.3MP/back 3.0MP

Ports: HDMI port that supports 1080p HD video

Connectivity: WiFi and Bluetooth

Apps: Apps include TuneIn Radio, MediaFly and Dropbox, ViewSonic 3D Interface

Personally I feel why buy a ViewSonic Tablet why not a NetBook? It’s basically a NetBook without the keyboard. Even though the Kindle Fire might not be the fastest tablet out there it’s going to have the software and cloud support needed to make any tablet successful.
