The Simplest Ways To Make The Best Of Patreon

Have you ever heard of Patreon? Patreon is the world’s largest crowdfunding site for artists and creators. Since platforms come and go Patreon is there to insure artists and creators continue to stay funded. Patreon guarantees that artist and creators get a consistent monthly income for their work.

Now that you know what Patreon is you might be asking how one makes the best use of the platform? If your a creator sign up for Patreon here: https://www.patreon.com/signup if you would like to make a pledge browse the site from the main home page https://www.patreon.com.

Patreon Rocks

The above picture is a screen shot of the Patreon home page. Just scroll down to find creators/artists you might be interested in funding. Many creators don’t set a minimum so you can make micro donations such as $1.00/month. One artist and creator I found on the site is Elijah Pepper at https://www.patreon.com/ElijahPepper. Elijah Pepper is a poet. Here’s some fascinating information on Elijah. “I have plans to release prints and a book of poetry. I am deeply passionate about writing and conveying emotion through beautifully crafted proses.” Please consider supporting his Patreon campaign.

On his site you’ll find the first 8 pages of a story about love and cherish called ‘Sacra Mage.’ Sacra Mage is a story about a boy named Tak, who was left for dead, growing up in the wild, with only a simple woodsman as company, on occasion. But a great army drove him from his summer home, and to discover his own fate, if he can get over the crippling loneliness he has known his entire life.

You can also find Elijah on Instagram where he posts poems, and proses. Elijah says he draws inspiration from a “life of loss, and love.” He regularly participates in writing challenges.

To browse other artists go to their featured artist section: https://www.patreon.com/featured/all

My suggestion is browse Patreon and support the artists and creators that don’t have that many patrons if any at all. It’s easy to get patrons if your a online celebrity, but if you’re just starting out it’s more difficult. Be sure to sign up for their blog updates as well: http://blog.patreon.com. If you’re a artist or creator and you want to take your passion full time I’d recommend just signing up you never know what’s going to happen.

Patreon is a giant leap forward for those creators out there looking to get online support for their art.
